Systema or Military Self-Defence Training

Systema is the martial art style used in the military. Its main focus is on body mechanics, punches and kicks but mainly survivability. Unlike many styles, my approach starts traditionally and gently, intensifying as your skills grow. My training is influenced by other styles I trained in over the years such as Muay Thai and Silat. Our training covers:

  • Hand-to-hand combat

  • Knife defense

  • Ground gymnastics

  • Managing stress and relaxation

I focus on building mental toughness and the right mindset, essential for executing any defence technique under pressure. Physical skills are important, but without mental tenacity, they fall short in real situations.

My inclusive program is modern, exciting, and suitable for everyone—regardless of age, gender, or ability. I ensure our training is ethical, practical, cost-effective, and minimizes injury risk for all participants.

Remember, physical self-defence should only be used as a last resort to protect yourself or others from immediate harm.
